Goldsmith Valorie Johnson has been working with an underwater archeology team in coastal North Carolina to accurately replicate what the well-dressed Pirate was wearing autumn 1718. Her new pieces include Sea Serpents, Crosses, Medallions and ornate metal and gemstone earrings; all reminiscent of salvaged galleon booty. These new pieces reflect the fashionable jewelry sent from France, Spain, England and The Netherlands to wealthy recipients in Charleston, Savannah, Port Royal and the Caribbean. Wait 'till you see 'em Matey!
