As a jewelry designer, Ann Thomas creates contemporary beaded jewelry using what is know as “off loom” beading techniques, jewelry made from beaded stitches that are not woven on a loom. Many of these stitches are found in ancient cultures and used throughout history. These techniques include peyote stitch, herringbone stitch, right angle weave and spiral stitch. Ann also designs jewelry with bead crochet and bead embroidery. Anne’s designs and creativity are stunning and her technical skills seem to grow year after year.
